Returns

Due to the digital nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or provide refunds for any ebook or other digital items once the purchase has been downloaded. Please read the product description carefully before making a purchase. 

Print Books

We want to make sure you’re happy with your purchase. If there’s a problem with your order, please get in touch with our team and we’ll do our best to find a quick solution.

 

Returns and Refunds

If you want to return your print book, you have 14 days from receipt to contact us. The book needs to be posted back to us within 14 days once a return has been arranged with our team. To be eligible for a refund, the book must be unused and in the same condition you received it.

We’re unable to offer refunds for books that show signs of use or that are damaged during return shipping. We’re also unable to offer refunds for digital items purchased as part of a book bundle if these have already been downloaded.

 

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your book arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please let us know as soon as possible. We will need a photo of the issue so we can raise it with our printer or courier.

We will be able to arrange either a replacement or a refund, including return costs where applicable. If you have a preferred option, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.

 

No-Longer-Needed Items

If your book arrives in good condition but you decide you don’t want to keep it, that’s completely fine. Please just get in touch with our team to arrange a return, ensuring that we receive the book back in perfect condition. 

You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. For peace of mind, please use tracked and insured postage when returning your book. We’re unable to cover or replace items that are lost on their way back to us.

 

Lost Deliveries

If your order hasn’t arrived within 14 days, please get in touch with our team so we can investigate. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

 

Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return. You will receive an email notification of this, please allow a few days for your bank or card provider to process it once we’ve confirmed the refund.

 

How to Return an Item

1. Email us with your order number and reason for return.
2. We’ll send you instructions on where to send your item.
3. Pack the book securely and use a tracked service.
4. Once we receive and check the return, we’ll process your refund.

EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. This withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the last item in your order, and extends over weekends and public holidays.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at hello@firstinarchitecture.co.uk before the 14-day period expires. We will arrange your refund promptly upon receipt of your purchased item.

Digital Downloads — Waiver of Withdrawal Right

Please note that our products include digital files which are made available for immediate download upon purchase. By completing your purchase and accessing your digital download, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the download has begun. This is in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

If you have purchased a digital product but have not yet accessed or downloaded it, your 14-day withdrawal right remains intact and you may contact us to request a cancellation and refund.
